Code of Conduct Kubernetes Community Days Sri Lanka 2023 is committed to providing a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment for all participants, regardless of background, experience, gender, gender identity and expression, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, race, ethnicity, age, or religion. This Code of Conduct outlines our expectations for all attendees, speakers, sponsors, volunteers, and organizers, and applies to all conference-related activities, both online and offline. All participants are expected to treat each other with respect and consideration, valuing the diversity of perspectives and experiences. Harassment, discrimination, or any form of offensive or disruptive behavior will not be tolerated. This includes, but is not limited to, verbal or written comments, imagery, or any other content that belittles, discriminates, or marginalizes individuals or groups. We aim to create an inclusive environment where everyone feels welcome and valued. Please be mindful of the language and content you use, avoiding exclusionary and offensive language, as well as inappropriate imagery or gestures. Kubernetes Community Days Sri Lanka encourages open dialogue and collaboration among attendees. Engage in discussions and debates with respect, even when opinions differ. Disagreements should be handled constructively and professionally. If you feel unsafe or witness any unsafe or inappropriate behavior, please notify a member of the organizing committee or a staff member immediately. We are here to address any concerns and take appropriate action as needed. If you experience or witness a violation of this Code of Conduct, we urge you to report it to a member of the organizing committee or a staff member. Reports can be made in person or via email. All reports will be handled discreetly and confidentially, and appropriate actions will be taken. Unacceptable behavior as outlined in this Code of Conduct will not be tolerated. The organizing committee reserves the right to take any appropriate action in response to violations, including but not limited to warnings, expelling individuals from the event, or reporting incidents to relevant authorities. By participating in Kubernetes Community Days Sri Lanka 2023, you are agreeing to abide by this Code of Conduct. We are dedicated to fostering a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere for all participants and appreciate your cooperation in creating a positive experience for everyone. This Code of Conduct is subject to change and modification by the organizing committee at any time without prior notice.
